Emmette T. Flynn, MD, attended the School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX, and received his medical degree in 1991. Then, he served his general surgery residency at UT Southwestern School of Medicine/ Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in trauma medicine and surgical critical care at the same teaching venue where he conducted his residency training. Dr. Flynn received board certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
